The New Thread Cup 2 will be the second installment /vg/ League hosted invitational intended to give new managers, testers, or people who have an interest in managing a proper chance of getting practice. This tournament will be hosted in PES19. Live managing is allowed and highly encouraged, if you cannot live manage for a game you must submit a pastebin. Autopiloting is banned for this event. All teams will be existing or newly founded VGL teams that can only be managed by managers that have little to no prior management experience in any setting that has a competitive live management scene such as the /vg/ League or the 4chan Cup.

The rules for this tournament are as follows:
- The same rules we currently use for VGL.
- Only managers who have less than a year of full live management experience may sign up. Total newbies are welcomed as well.
- If you intend to take control of a team that currently has a manager or caretaker, you must have permission from said manager/caretaker before being allowed participation. The standard verification process would not be used
- Exports must be mostly original in that I can't go to the editor and look at a team and see it's 99% the same as whoever the fuck won Summer or a top 8 VGL18 team, etc.
- Group Stage followed by a usual knockout stage. Format pending eventual sign ups.
- Each match is the standard length, with AET and Penalty Kicks ON in knockouts only.
- Live-Managing is allowed and highly encouraged, but pastebins are also allowed as well. Autopiloting will be banned.
- Deadline exports should be provided on the Discussion Page strictly. Every nightly must be sent to the export email at vgleagueexports@gmail.com.
- All Exports Deadline: September 23th, 23:59 UTC
